My best friend Michel Normandeau from Montreal, Canada was lloking in a Travel Book to choose the places to visit during our vacations in Sorrento, Italy. And he saw this Cooking Class. He decided to reserve 2 places at Mama Agata. First I must say that I like very much the Italian recipes. The location of Mama Agata by itself is fantastic. Charia, she's Mama Agata daughter who is the Center of this business was wonderful ! I love this cooking class, it was a memorable event of my life! And Mama Agata was so gentle. I will never thanks enough our hosts, who were welcome and great kindness !!!! You must reserve this for your next vacation in Italy !

What can I say - we had a fabulous time with "voloptuous" Chiara, her Mamma Agata and Chiara's husband. The food preparation and class was informative & entertaining. Chiara has a great sense of humour, charismatic and makes the day. You really must go hungry as the food never ends while you are there.
I bought some of her Lemoncello as it was the best I had tasted in our 3.5 weeks in Italy. And her "Hell" (red peppers) was a hit back home with my son. Put this class on your agenda when traveling in the Amalfi coast region - IT IS NOT TO BE MISSED !

We spent 3 weeks in Italy, and all agreed that our day with Mamma Agata, Chiara and Gennero was the highlight of our trip. It was a sensational cooking experience, but the true treasure of the day was meeting these remarkable, warm, loving people. I will never forget this day! It is forever in my mind. I wrote a tribute to the school on my blog, www.mykitchenmemories.com
