Oh my God we had the most amazing time with Chiara & Gennaro in Mamma Agata's for our wine tasting experience this year. It was truly a memorable experience and one we won’t be forgetting for a long long time. The evening was filled with delicious wines and food and the wealth of knowledge that Chiara & Gennaro was second to none. The location, the view, the company even the walk to Mamma Agata’s was spectacular. I can say without a doubt that this was the highlight of our trip to Italy and we have been there a few times now so know what we are talking about. Anyone who wishes to experience the real authentic passionate side to Italy please please go and visit Mamma Agata. Thank you Chiara & Gennaro for a wonderful experience your kindness and passion for food and life left us wanting more and more. Ciao

Chiara, We wanted to express our sincere thanks in allowing us to share in the "Mama Agata experience". It truly surpassed our expectations. You and your mother make a wonderful team ! The house, gardens, and view of the sea were just an added bonus. Who knew we would get along with perfect strangers. By the end of the day they we were all friends. Ciao Chiara & Mamma Agata, How are you e Bella Italia? Thank you so very much for the wonderful, beautiful experience of the cooking class and being in the presence of your beautiful family that welcomed us into your home. Both Joe and I cannot stop thinking about the food, the cooking and how amazing both you and Mamma Agata are. We tell all of our friends and family that they should only choose the Amalfi Coast for their next vacation so that they too can experience Mamma Agata. As promised, we are sending you a few good pictures from our class. It was the most beautiful, amazing day and the highlight of our vacation. We hope to be able to do this quite often when we travel to Italy which is usually once a year. Thank you again for being so accommodating, warm and loving. We both felt as with we were with our families and hope that we have now become a part of yours. Dear Chiara, Jeff and I wanted to thank you for the wonderful time we had at lunch with you, mamma and the class. It took a while to write as it has been so hectic returning from vacation, getting back into work and family life. Our lunch with you was one of our best times and will remain a fabulous memory. The company was great and food was terrific . I made the lemon chicken...following the tips and it was great (though not like your mom's and we didn't have that incredible view). I hope to return one day for a class. You have created a lovely experience. Thanks so much for welcoming Jeff and I so very graciously. On a funny note, we went to the bakery you recommended...absolutely amazing. I am blanking on the owners name but she was so so sweet. She had us tasting so many things and, of course, we had to bring home so many of those treats. As we were all taking a couple came in and the owner's husband was serving them. Who should they turn out to be but Virgil's (again blanking on his wife's name) daughter and her boyfriend. We also crossed path's with the sisters and the couple from Texas at dinner one night...we were all at the same place. It felt like the afternoon with you was meant to be! In jewish we call it 'bishairt', or fate. I also got a beautiful pair of cameo earrings and some pasta bowls at the stores you recommended. So, thank you for that as well. On a more serious note, I would like to go on your pre-publication list for you mom's book. This letter can go as my formal request. Please let me know if I have to do anything else...credit card, address, etc. Lastly, In the booklet of recipes I have no first page of ingredients for the lemon cake and I have two pages of the second page of instructions for the cake. Is it possible for you to email or mail me a copy? I'd appreciate it very much. Again, thank you for everything. If you ever come to the states and would like a home cooked meal (we are half way between New York City and Philadelphia) please do not hesitate to drop me a line so we...our door is always open. Dear Chiara and Mamma: Thank you for creating the most beautiful day of our whole holiday. Dan and I loved spending time with you and all of the wonderful guests during the cooking course. We thank you for sharing your lovely home and for creating such a delicious menu that we are hoping to recreate for our family and friends. We would love to have the recipe for the "Hell sauce" if you would be so kind as to share it with us. We also want to receive word when we can order Mamma's cookbook for ourselves and our family. The spectatular dining setting, delicious wine, fabulous food and exquisite view all worked to create the most memorial day of our vacation....
